SPONSORED PROGRAMS

AKTION CLUB - Kiwanis service to adult and High School students with developmental disabilities. Provides opportunities to develop initiative and leadership, to serve their communities, with dignity
Meets on the third Thursday of the month at 3:00 p. m. in Room IAW 101 at the Merrillville High School. Barbara Diouhy is Club Staff Sponsor. She can be reached at bdlouhy@mvsc.k12.in.us.

BUILDERS CLUB - ( 7th and 8th graders) To develop an interest in organizing to serve their schools and communities.
Meets twice a month, on the first and third Tuesdays at 3:00 in room 133 at the Clifford Pierce Middle School. Sponsor Patti Tubbs, ptubbs@mvsc.k12.in.us and Kem Schreiber, kschreiber@mvsc.k12.in.us

K-KIDS CLUB (5th and 6th grades) To develop leadership and citizenship education
Meets at 3:45 in room 107 at the Merrillville Intermediate School. Jody Casteel is Faculty Advisor- jcasteel@mvsc.k12.in.us

KEY CLUB INTERNATIONAL (9th to 12th grades) The oldest Kiwanis sponsored-youth program. It's structure, ideals and functions parallel it's local Kiwanis sponsor.
Meets every Thursday at 3:10 p.m. in room A108 at the Merrillville High School. Carrie Bedwell is the Faculty Advisor, cbedwell@mvsc.k12.in.us
