Merrillville Breakfast KiwanisMonthly Board Meeting 5/29/2008
In attendance: Terri Weems, Richard Hardaway, Jill & Dave Kotul, Jim Coady, John Owens, Mike McIntyre, President Terri called the meeting to order immediately following regular meeting 8:20 A. M.. The business before the board today is the new fee for Builders Club dues. Instead of $3.50 per member there is now a flat fee of $150. Discussion included the question of if we had a Builders Club. Ed indicated we did not pay dues last year. We will wait for Darrell to return from vacation and confirm whether or not there is a Builders Club in Merrillville. Ed said he received a sponsorship check from John Brock for the Chilli Supper. It came in late, the postmark to Ed was June 12 our Supper was in March. The board decided to accept it as a donation. Ed will write a letter thanking the company for the donation. There being no other business before the board, meeting was adjourned by President Terri Weems at 8:35 A. M.
